There is this German genius Dieter Döpfer, who has been manufacturing analog synthesizers and midi equipment for over 20 years. And he even got a phonecall by Florian Schneider one day, asking for custom-made equipment.
Florian Schneider is co-founder of Kraftwerk, who are well-known for using analog synthesizers from - well not really from the beginning, but - the mid-70s.
So to celebrate those two important elements in the history of German music making, Residuum made these mp3 files. Most of them don't even sound like Kraftwerk, but more like outtakes of some raw pre-80s Industrial or Electro-Punk tracks, but the titles resemble Kraftwerk-related things.
And the title of the album? Richard D. James, if you ever read this: Do NOT ever call an album "Selected blabla" again! Every album is a selection, stupid! Every album, except this one, of course.
